How To Deactivate & Reactivate Drivers

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to deactivate and reactivate a driver within Carrier TMS. Whether you need to temporarily remove a driver’s access or bring them back onto your team, this guide covers each step to make the process smooth and straightforward. By following these instructions, you can ensure that your drivers’ statuses are accurately managed, keeping your Carrier TMS account organized and up to date. Let’s dive in and take a look at how to efficiently deactivate and reactivate drivers within Carrier TMS.

Deactivating & Reactivating

In this section we will go over how you can deactivate a driver in Carrier TMS. Check out the guide below:

Step 1: Login To Carrier TMS

Step 2: Drivers

  • Click Drivers on the left hand side your screen.

Step 3: Find Driver

  • You can also search for the driver by using the search bar

  • Or you can select their name from the list of Drivers.

Step 4: 3 Dots

  • Click the three dots in the upper right corner.

Step 5: Deactivate

  • Select Deactivate.

Note: Deactivating a driver may impact any loads currently assigned to them. Please note that deactivating a driver does not qualify for a subscription refund; however, it will stop any future charges for that driver.


Reactivate A Driver

Below, we will show you how to Reactivate a Driver:

Step 1: 3 Dots

  • Click the 3 Dots in the upper right hand corner.

Step 2: Reactivate

  • Select Reactivate.
