Introduction
If you’ve noticed that your Carrier name appears incorrectly or differently on your Carrier Profile in Super Dispatch, there’s likely a reason for this. Super Dispatch requires all Carrier names in the Carrier Profile to match what is listed as the Legal Name or DBA (Doing Business As) for your USDOT# in the FMCSA database. This helps us maintain consistency and ensures compliance with official records.
Why Does My Carrier Name Need to Match FMCSA Records?
For your Carrier Profile name to appear accurately in Super Dispatch, it must match one of the following from the FMCSA database:
Legal Name: The official business name registered under your USDOT number.
DBA (Doing Business As): If you operate under a different name than your registered Legal Name, this DBA must be on file with the FMCSA.
For example, if your USDOT number is registered under DAVID HALL TRUCKING LLC but you’d like your profile to display HAUL & OATS TRUCKING, the DBA must be updated in the FMCSA database to reflect this name.
Note: This change can only be processed by our Customer Support team, as it requires verification against FMCSA records.
