On the Loads
page in the Carrier TMS, you can quickly and easily create a load manually to assign to your driver. Follow these easy steps to get started:
1. Click the Create Load
button in the top right-hand corner of the page
2. First, fill out the Load Details
section:
You can either set the Internal Load ID
yourself or set this number to increment automatically when you create a load in the Initial Load ID
section of Settings
(Click Here)Inspection Type
will allow you to choose from a few different Inspection types:
1. Standard: This inspection type has no required steps for drivers
2. Advanced: this inspection type requires a minimum of 6 photos per vehicle for pick up AND for delivery
3. AIAG: This inspection type is used for OEM customers and requires 2 photos per damage
Next, fill out the Pick-Up and Delivery Information for the order:
Clicking Save as New Contact
will copy this customer to your Contacts
section. Selecting Copy to Customer Information
will paste this customer's information down to the Customer Information
section below:
*Important Note* You must have a name and email filled out for the Customer section. if not, you will not be able to send invoices successfully!
Next Enter the VIN numbers for the vehicle:
If you have multiple VINs to decode, try the Bulk VIN decoder

You can also add any attachments you need to the order, like dispatch sheets, gate passes, etc.
Once all of this information is entered successfully, click the SAVE
button in the top right-hand corner of the page:
Once your new load is saved, you will see it on the loads page:
You can click the Load ID on the left to bring up the Edit
screen. On the right side of the load card, click Assign
to assign the load to a driver, Options
to bring up a list of available actions for the load, and Edit
to bring up the Edit screen.
