How Do I Rate A Shipper In Carrier TMS?

Read below to learn how to rate the Shippers you work with on Super Dispatch via the Carrier TMS

Introduction

Rating shippers in Carrier TMS helps provide transparency and improve service quality. Follow these steps to rate a shipper via their profile.

Note: You can only rate a shipper after an accepted load offer has been completed between you and the shipper.


How to Rate a Shipper in Carrier TMS

Below we will walk you through step by step on how to rate a Shipper in Carrier TMS:

Note: Carriers who are not verified will be unable to leave ratings for others or respond to negative ratings they receive. Verification ensures accountability and full access to these features.

Step 1: Open the Shipper Profile

  • In Carrier TMS, locate the Shipper Name within the Shipper/Customer section of a load.

  • Click on it to access the Shipper Profile.

Step 2: Select Rate Shipper

  • Once in the Shipper’s Profile, click Rate Shipper.

Step 3: Choose Your Rating

  • Select your rating and any reasons that may apply.

  • You can also add comments up to 280 characters.

Step 4: Submit Your Rating

  • Click Submit to finalize your rating.

    • Positive Ratings: Published immediately and visible to all Super Dispatch users.

    • Negative Ratings: Visible in a “Pending” status for a 10-day period before details are shared publicly.

Step 5: View Your Rating

  • Your rating will appear in the top right corner of the Shipper Profile and in the Ratings section.

Step 6: Edit Or Delete

  • To edit or delete your rating, click the Edit Icon in the rating section.


Who Can Rate Shippers?

  • Owner Operators: Can rate Shippers from both the Carrier TMS and the Mobile App if the dispatcher/driver account is active.

  • Fleet Dispatchers: Can rate Shippers via the Carrier TMS.

Note:

  • Companies that signed up before November 16, 2021, with two or more active drivers, do not have the ability to add or edit ratings by default.

  • Companies that signed up after November 16, 2021, drivers have the ability to add or edit ratings by default.

Driver permissions to manage ratings can be adjusted in the Driver App section of the Settings page in Carrier TMS.


How Are Rating Percentages Calculated?

  • Positive Ratings add one point.

  • Negative Ratings add zero points.

The Overall Rating Percentage is calculated as:

(Number of Positive Ratings ➗ Total Number of Ratings) = Overall Percentage
