How to Rate the Carriers you work with on Super Dispatch via Shipper TMS

Note: To rate, an accepted load offer between carrier and shipper is required!

  1. To rate a Carrier on Super Dispatch, you must navigate their Carrier Profile. The easiest way to access any Carrier's Profile is to click on the Carrier's name anywhere within an order. You can also search for the Carrier in the Manage Carriers section.

2. Once in the Carrier Profile, click Rate Carrier in the upper right-hand corner.

3. From here, you will be presented with the option to select your rating for the carrier. You will have the option of leaving them either a positive rating or a negative rating.

4. Select any reasons that may apply, and add any comments you feel may be necessary. (Max. of 280 characters) For a positive rating, you will be asked, "What went well." And, for a negative rating, you will be asked, "What went wrong." I've included for you examples of each.

*For the Negative rating section, soon we will be adding an option for "Double Brokering." If you suspect or are certain that a company has double-brokered a load, you can leave this as an option when rating. Double Brokering is the unauthorized re-brokering of a load to another trucking company. This unauthorized activity is a violation of FMCSA. Additionally, this fraudulent activity exposes carriers and shippers alike with no way to mitigate any issues with delays.

5. Finally, Click Submit.

Positive Ratings: will be published immediately to be seen by all Super Dispatch users.

Negative ratings: will remain in publicly visible Pending status for a 10-day waiting period before full details of the rating are revealed to all Super Dispatch users.

4. Once you submit your rating, you will see it appear in two places: First, in the top right corner of your Carrier Profile, and again in the Ratings Given by You section. You can Edit your Rating anytime by clicking on the ✏️ Edit Icon. You can also Delete your rating.

Who Can Rate Carriers?

Any user with the Permission "Update Carrier Profile" can rate Carriers.

By default, this is any user with the user roles Admin or Dispatcher in Shipper TMS.

Can I update my Rating after I resolve an issue with a Carrier?

Yes! You can edit your Rating anytime by navigating to the Carrier's Profile and clicking on the ✏️ Edit Icon in the Rating section of the profile. You can also Delete your rating.

How are Rating Percentages Calculated?

  • Each Positive ratings give ONE point. Negative ratings give ZERO points.

  • Overall Rating Percent counts as Number of Positive Ratings Total Number of Ratings = Overall Percentage.

Can I respond to a carrier who leaves a rating?

Yes! The date they were submitted is right below their name. You have a few options for reaching back:

1. If you click on the company name, it will show their profile. The contact info like phone and email will be included:

2. You can click the Add Response button, and they will be notified you have messaged them through the rating. That way, they’ll have context as to why you’re reaching out:

At that point, it is up to the carrier to delete their review, which they can do at any time, as those reviews are not permanent.
