Understanding the various options when it comes to Vehicle Type

Updated over a week ago

Super Dispatch is the leading platform for moving cars - what you might not know is that we support you in managing many different types of vehicles, even freight. Below is a list of every option from the Vehicle Type dropdown available when creating a load in the mobile app or Carrier TMS:

  • Sedan

  • Coupe (2 doors)

  • SUV

  • Pickup (4 doors)

  • Pickup (2 doors)

  • Van

  • Truck (daycab)

  • Truck (with sleeper)

  • Motorcycle

  • Boat

  • RV

  • Heavy Machinery

  • Freight

  • Livestock

  • ATV

  • Trailer (bumper pull)

  • Trailer (Gooseneck)

  • Trailer (5th wheel)

  • Other

NOTE:

  1. The old Pickup type is changed to “Pickup (2 doors)”.

  2. Boat, RV, Heavy Machinery, Freight, Livestock, and ATV unit types don’t have a diagram image.

  3. If a unit type doesn’t have a diagram image, the app shows the diagram with text “Take photos of the unit to start inspection.”

  4. If a unit type doesn’t have a diagram image, a BOL with this unit shows the diagram with text “The unit doesn’t have a diagram image.”
