Shipper TMS - Using Custom Order Tags

This article will explain how to use Order Tags in your Shipper TMS account

Custom tags allow you to organize and categorize your loads in a way that is beneficial for you and your company. This can include tagging items with specific keywords, labels, categories, or statuses. By using custom tags, you will be able to easily sort and filter through your loads, making it more manageable and easier to find what you are looking for.

Additionally, custom tags can be used to improve the searchability and visibility of orders, making them more likely to be found by your co-workers. This will help you work faster and smarter with your team leading to better productivity, and ultimately more cars moved faster!




To start adding your order tags, go to the General settings page:

Click + Add Order Tag:


*Note* You can add up to 20 tags, and set the maximum number of tags per order (up to 3):

Select your Tag Names and color types:

To remove a saved tag, simply click Edit Tags and click the trash can icon:

Select Save and your tags will be ready to use:

*Note* Only Admin users can add/edit/delete order tags



You can now add your tags to new or existing orders:


Once the tags are selected, they will be added to the order:




Filtering:

You can also filter your loads in the Shipper TMS by tag type:





Reporting:

Additionally, you can include Tags as a field in Custom Reports:

Select Tags as a custom item for the report:


Now Tags will be shown as a column in the report:


You can also filter by tag type for your custom report:


Once a tag type is selected for the filter, the report will reflect that tag filter:
