How To Manage Dispatchers In Carrier TMS

In this article we are going to be going over how you can manage your dispatchers inside of Carrier TMS.

Adding Dispatchers

Follow these step-by-step instructions to learn how to invite dispatchers. See details below:

Step 1: Log Into Your Carrier TMS Account

  • Log into your Carrier TMS account.

Step 2: Navigate to the Dispatchers Page

  • Click on the Profile Icon on the bottom left navigation bar.

Step 3: Dispatchers

  • Click Dispatchers from the Profile menu.

Step 4: Add a Dispatcher

  • Click the Invite Dispatcher.

Step 5: Fill Out Dispatcher Information

  • Enter the required information.

Step 6: Send Invitation

  • Click Send Invite.

Note: If needed, you can Resend or Cancel the invitation.


Dispatcher Experience:

Here’s what the dispatcher will experience once you send the invitation:

Step 1: Receive Invitation Email:

  • The dispatcher will receive an email with instructions on how to join.

  • They Need to click Join Carrier.

Note: They may need to check their spam or junk folder if they don’t see it immediately.

Step 3: Complete Registration

  • Next, they’ll complete their account setup by providing their name, phone number, and creating a password. Then click Join The Carrier.

Step 4: Access Granted

  • The dispatcher can now login to Carrier TMS with their email address and password.


Common Issues and Solutions

Next, we will cover some common issues users may experience.

Invitation Email Not Received:

  • Cause: The email may be filtered into spam or junk folders.

  • Solution: Ask the dispatcher to check their spam folder or verify the email address and resend the invitation.

Invalid Invitation Link

  • Cause: The link has expired or been used.

  • Solution: Send a new invitation if the link expired or ensure they log in with the credentials created when accepting the original invite.

Registration Errors:

  • Cause: Fields may be left blank or filled in incorrectly.

  • Solution: Review the form to ensure all fields are correctly filled out and resubmit.

Account Already Exists:

  • Cause: The dispatcher may already have an account.

  • Solution: Contact the Support Team or have the dispatcher use a different email address.

Access Denied After Registration

  • Cause: There may be a delay in account activation.

  • Solution: Verify that the account has been activated and adjust permission settings if necessary.
