Introduction
Fleet Drive Mode limits specific actions that Drivers can perform on their Mobile App. This feature is managed through the Settings page in the Dispatcher’s Carrier TMS Dashboard.
When Fleet Drive Mode is enabled, Fleet Drivers cannot:
-
Delete an order.
-
Archive an order.
-
Send invoices.
-
Edit the Pickup/Delivery Company and Contact Name (though they can edit Pickup/Delivery addresses and notes as needed).
-
Mark an order as Paid.
-
Add vehicles to loads created by Dispatchers or Brokers.
Note: Loads created by Dispatchers refer to those created in Carrier TMS. Loads created by Brokers refer to those created in Shipper TMS.
This feature gives Dispatchers and accounting teams greater control over order management while ensuring Drivers focus solely on their tasks.
Important: Dispatchers should archive completed orders to prevent them from cluttering the Driver’s Mobile App. However, Drivers can still create orders in the app, even if Fleet Drive Mode is active.
