Check the QBWCLog.txt for details, followed by Error Unique Owner ID/File ID required when connecting or opening QuickBooks Desktop, don’t worry—this article will guide you through resolving the issue step-by-step.

This error usually occurs due to one of two reasons:

The company file has been moved from its original location.

The third-party application or Warehouse Manager was incorrectly removed from the QuickBooks Web Connector.
How to Fix Error QBWC1039
Below, we’ll walk you through fixing the problem by reinstalling the Web Connector and re-integrating QuickBooks Desktop with Super Dispatch.
Follow the steps below to remove and re-install the Web Connector for QuickBooks Desktop.
Step 1: Backup Your Company File
• Make a copy of your QuickBooks company file to ensure your data is safe.
Step 2: Download the QBWC CP3Tool

Download the QBWC CP3Tool from the official QuickBooks Web Connector support site.
Note: This download requires Internet Explorer 10, Chrome, or Firefox browsers.

Double-click the QBWC_CP3Tool_Installer.exe file to install the tool.

After installation, select Launch the QBWC CP3Tool. Minimize the tool for now.
Step 3: Download the .QWC File for Your Application

If you haven’t done so already, download the .QWC file for your application from Super Dispatch.
Note: If you’re unsure how to get this file, contact QuickBooks Web Connector Support.
Step 4: Open QuickBooks Desktop and Select the Company File

Open QuickBooks Desktop and select the company file associated with the error.

Make a backup copy of this company file for safety.
Step 5: Use the QBWC CP3Tool to Remove the Stamp

Bring up the QBWC CP3Tool by clicking it in the Taskbar.

Click Select File and locate the .QWC file.

Click Remove Stamp.
Step 6: Complete the Application Access Request

• When the Application Certificate appears, select:

Yes, whenever this QuickBooks company file is open” and click Continue.

In the Application Access Request window, click Yes.

On the access confirmation message, click Done.
Step 7: Confirm the Removal

Click OK on the message asking you to make a backup (you already did this earlier).

The QBWC CP3Tool will display a confirmation message if the owner ID was successfully removed.

Close the QBWC CP3Tool.
Re-Integrating QuickBooks Desktop with Super Dispatch
