This error typically occurs when an old application .QWC file still exists in QuickBooks or the Web Connector, preventing a successful integration. Let’s dive into how to fix this issue.
Resolving the Authentication Failed Issue
Follow the steps below to remove the old .QWC file and successfully re-integrate QuickBooks Desktop with Super Dispatch.
Step 1: Remove the Application File from Web Connector

Open QuickBooks Desktop and the Web Connector.

Locate the application .QWC file and click the Remove button next to the Password field.

After removing the application file, re-integrate QuickBooks Desktop with Super Dispatch. Refer to our Integration Guide if needed.
Step 2: Force Remove the Application File from Windows Registry Editor
If removing the .QWC file through the Web Connector doesn’t work, you’ll need to remove it manually via the Windows Registry Editor.
Caution: Editing the registry can impact system performance. Proceed carefully.
Steps:

Open the Start menu, search for regedit, and open the Registry Editor program.

Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intuit\QBWebConnector\Scheduler

Remove all folders beginning with Super Dispatch.

Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intuit\QBWebConnector\SoapWebServices

Remove all folders beginning with Super Dispatch.

Step 3: Remove the Integration from QuickBooks Desktop

Open QuickBooks Desktop.

Go to Edit → Preferences → Integrated Applications → Company Preferences.

Remove all integrations beginning with Super Dispatch.

Note: You must have Admin access in QuickBooks Desktop to perform this step.
Final Steps

Once all previous integrations and application files are removed, return to the Web Connector and repeat the steps in Step 1.

This error occurs when the wrong company file is open. The alert message will display the location of the company file integrated with Super Dispatch.
