To ensure a smooth import process for your loads, please follow the guidelines below when using the CSV template in Carrier TMS. This guide outlines required formatting, field details, and optional values to make sure your import goes smoothly.

Below, we are going to cover Guidelines for Importing Loads via CSV Template:

Importing Instructions

• Column Headers: All column headers in the CSV template must be present. You may leave some cells blank or rearrange the order of columns as needed.

   

• Date Format: Ensure that all dates are formatted as MM/DD/YY or MM/DD/YYYY.

   

• Inoperable Vehicle: This field can be set to yes or no. If left blank, the value defaults to no.

   

• Requires Enclosed Trailer: This field can also be set to yes or no. If left blank, the value defaults to no.

   

• Vehicle Type: Enter one of the following values to indicate the type of vehicle:

  • sedan, 2_door_coupe, suv, pickup, van, truck_daycab, truck_sleeper, motorcycle, 4_door_pickup, boat, rv, heavy_machinery, freight, livestock, atv, trailer_bumper_pull, trailer_gooseneck, trailer_5th_wheel, other.

     

• Payment Methods: Use one of the following options to indicate payment terms:

  • ACH, comchek, cop, cod, quick_pay, ckod, 5_days, 7_days, 10_days, 15_days, 20_days, 30_days, 45_days, factoring, other.
