Introduction
Super Dispatch enables shippers to seamlessly work with brokers to ensure efficient load movement. When shippers need assistance in finding carriers, they can send orders directly to brokers, who will then assign the loads to trusted carriers or post them to the load board. This guide will walk you through how shippers can submit orders to brokers and how brokers manage these loads.
How Shippers Work with Brokers
Shippers often need help moving large volumes of vehicles each month. Brokers specialize in finding the right carriers to transport these vehicles, making it easier for shippers to keep their operations running smoothly. Brokers may have established relationships with carriers in specific regions, making them valuable partners for moving loads efficiently.
To get started, shippers must request a Customer Portal account before they can submit orders to brokers. To request an account, email support@superdispatch.com. Once the account is set up, the shipper can submit orders directly to their connected broker.
How to Submit Orders to a Broker
Below we will show you How to Submit Orders to a Broker:
Step 1: Create an Order
- Log into Shipper TMS and navigate to the Orders tab.
- Click Create Order and enter the following details:
- Pickup and delivery locations
- Vehicle details (year, make, model, type)
- Payment terms and pricing
- Any special instructions for transport
Step 2: Send the Order to a Broker
- Instead of posting the order to the load board, select Send to Broker.
- Choose your connected broker from the available list.
- Confirm and send the order.
Step 3: Broker Receives and Manages the Order
- The broker will receive the order in their Received Orders section.
- They will have two options:
- Assign the load to a carrier from their network
- Post the load to the Super Loadboard to find a qualified carrier
- Once a carrier is selected, they will be notified and can accept the load.
Step 4: Tracking and Status Updates
- Shippers and brokers can track the order status in real-time through Super Dispatch.
- Brokers can manage communication with carriers and ensure smooth delivery.
- Once the carrier delivers the load, the status is updated in the system.
Step 5: Payment Processing
- The shipper pays the broker, following agreed payment terms.
- The broker pays the carrier for completing the delivery.
