If your Carrier name appears incorrectly or unexpectedly on your Super Dispatch Carrier Profile, there’s a good reason: Super Dispatch requires that all carrier names match the official records listed under your USDOT number in the FMCSA database.
To stay compliant and consistent with FMCSA regulations, your profile must display either your legal business name or your officially registered DBA (Doing Business As) name.
Why Your Carrier Name Must Match FMCSA Records
Your Carrier Profile name must match one of the following entries from your FMCSA registration:
- Legal Name – The full name of your business as registered with your USDOT number.
- DBA (Doing Business As) – If you operate under a different public name, it must be listed as a DBA in your FMCSA record.
For example, if your FMCSA record lists DAVID HALL TRUCKING LLC, but you want your profile to show HAUL & OATS TRUCKING, that name must appear in the FMCSA database under your USDOT number.
Note: Carrier name changes in Super Dispatch must be handled by our Customer Support team, since we must verify your name against official FMCSA records.
How to Request a Carrier Name Update
Step 1: Initiate a Chat with Support
