Introduction
The Private Network in Shipper TMS lets you add trusted, approved carriers to your own network and post loads only they can see on your Private Loadboard. You can also sort carriers into groups and post loads to a specific group.
Why Use a Private Network?
Many brokers and shippers rely on a network of trusted carriers. Managing that network by phone and group email takes a lot of work, especially for urgent loads, and it's hard to keep carriers from overbooking. The Private Network puts that network in Shipper TMS, so you can offer loads to the right carriers in a few clicks.
How to Request Access
Step 1: Open Manage Carriers
- In Shipper TMS, click Manage Carriers in the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Request Access
- Open the Private Network tab and click Request Access.
- On the Super Dispatch Private Loadboard page, scroll to the bottom and fill out the form.
How to Create a Private Network Group
Step 1: Open the Private Network Tab
- In Manage Carriers, open the Private Network tab.
Step 2: Create and Name the Group
- Click + Create Group, enter a name, such as White Gloves, and click Create.
Other Ways to Create a Group
- From the Approved or Can Instantly Book tabs: Select carriers, click Add to Private Network, and choose + Create Group.
- From a carrier's Internal Records: On the carrier's profile, open Internal Records, check Private Network, and choose + Create Group under Group (Optional).
Rename or Delete a Group
- Delete: Click the trash can icon next to the group's name and click Delete. If loads are posted to the group, the message tells you they'll be unposted from the Private Loadboard.
- Rename: Click the pencil (edit) icon next to the group's name, enter a new name, and click Save.

A tag on each carrier confirms they were added. If you added them to a group, the tag shows the group name.

- Click the pencil icon on Internal Records.
- Check Private Network, and choose a group under Group (Optional) if you want.

Private Network Labels on Requests and Offers
In the Carrier Requests and Send Offer panels, a label shows when a carrier is in your Private Network.
Remove Carriers From Your Private Network or a Group
- On the Private Network tab, select the carriers and click Remove from Private Network.
- A message explains that the carriers will lose access to your Private Loadboard and any groups they belong to. Click Remove to confirm.
- To remove carriers from just one group, open that group, select them, and click Remove from Group. The message explains they'll lose access to loads posted to that group.
How to Use the Private Loadboard
Loads you post to the Private Loadboard are only visible to carriers in your Private Network, or to the group you choose. Here's how they look to carriers:
Post a Load to the Private Loadboard
- Create an order as usual.
- When you're ready to post, open the Post to SLB dropdown and choose Private Loadboard, All Private Network, or a specific group.
Post Several Loads at Once
- On the Orders page, select the orders, click Post to SLB, and choose where to post them.
Unpost a Load
- On the Private Loadboard tab of your orders, click the three-dot (⋯) menu on the load and select Unpost from Private Loadboard.
