Introduction
If you need to prevent a carrier from receiving your load offers or booking loads from your company, Shipper TMS allows you to blocklist carriers. Once a carrier is blocklisted, they will no longer be able to interact with your posted loads, ensuring you have full control over who transports your vehicles.
Steps to Blocklist a Carrier in Shipper TMS
This guide will walk you through the steps to blocklist a carrier in Shipper TMS.
Step 1: Log Into Shipper TMS
- Open Shipper TMS and log into your account.
- Navigate to the Manage Carriers section from the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Find the Carrier
- Use the search bar to locate the carrier you want to blocklist.
- You can search by carrier name or USDOT number.
Step 3: Open Carrier Profile
- Click on the carrier’s name to open their profile.
Step 4: Blocklist the Carrier
- Click on the Pencil Icon in the Internal Records section.
- Change the Carrier Status to Blocklisted.
- Confirm your decision by selecting “Save.”
Once confirmed, the carrier will be immediately added to your blocklist and will no longer have access to your loads.
Managing Blocklisted Carriers
- You can review your blocklisted carriers at any time under the Carriers section.
- If you need to remove a carrier from the blocklist, go to their profile and change their “Carrier Status.”
- Keep in mind that removing a carrier from the blocklist will allow them to receive your load offers again.
