    Custom tags are a powerful tool in Shipper TMS that help you organize, categorize, and manage your loads more efficiently. By assigning specific tags to your orders, you can streamline your workflow, improve visibility for your team, and make load management easier and faster. Below, we’ll guide you through the process of setting up and using custom tags, along with their benefits.

    What Are Custom Tags?

    Custom tags allow you to label loads with specific keywords, categories, or statuses. These tags help you:

    • Organize Loads: Categorize orders based on custom criteria.

    • Improve Searchability: Quickly locate tagged loads.

    • Enhance Collaboration: Make orders more visible and manageable for your team.

    With custom tags, you can work smarter and move cars faster!

    How to Set Up Custom Tags

    Below, we will walk you through how to set up Custom Tags:

    Step 1: Access General Settings

    • Log in to your Shipper TMS account.

    • Navigate to the General Settings page.

    Step 2: Add Tags

    • Click the + Add Order Tag button.

    • You can create up to 20 tags and set a maximum of 3 tags per order.

    Step 3: Customize Tag Names and Colors

    • Enter the desired tag names.

    • Select a color for each tag to make them visually distinct.

    Step 4: Save Tags

    • Click Save to finalize your tags.

    Note: Only Admin users have the ability to add, edit, or delete order tags.

    How to Use Custom Tags

    Adding Tags to Orders

    1. Open an existing order or create a new one.

    2. Select the desired tags from the available list.

    3. The selected tags will be displayed on the order.

    Filtering Loads by Tags

    1. Go to the Loads page in Shipper TMS.

    2. Use the filter option to search loads by tag type.

    3. The system will display only the loads matching the selected tags.

    Using Tags in Reports

    Below, we will cover how to use Tags in Reports:

    Including Tags in Custom Reports

    1. Navigate to the Reports section in Shipper TMS.

    2. Select Tags as a field when creating a custom report.

    3. Tags will appear as a column in the generated report.

    Filtering Reports by Tag Type

    1. Apply a tag type filter to your report criteria.

    2. The report will reflect the filtered tag selection for precise data analysis.

    Managing Tags

    Editing or Deleting Tags

    1. Go to the General Settings page.

    2. Click Edit Tags to modify or delete existing tags.

    3. To delete a tag, click the trash can icon next to the tag name.
