What Are Custom Tags?
Custom tags allow you to label loads with specific keywords, categories, or statuses. These tags help you:

How to Set Up Custom Tags
Below, we will walk you through how to set up Custom Tags:
Step 1: Access General Settings

Log in to your Shipper TMS account.

Navigate to the General Settings page.

Step 2: Add Tags

Click the + Add Order Tag button.

You can create up to 20 tags and set a maximum of 3 tags per order.

Step 3: Customize Tag Names and Colors

Enter the desired tag names.

Select a color for each tag to make them visually distinct.
Step 4: Save Tags

Click Save to finalize your tags.
Note: Only Admin users have the ability to add, edit, or delete order tags.
How to Use Custom Tags

Adding Tags to Orders

Open an existing order or create a new one.

Select the desired tags from the available list.

The selected tags will be displayed on the order.

Filtering Loads by Tags

Go to the Loads page in Shipper TMS.

The system will display only the loads matching the selected tags.

Using Tags in Reports

Including Tags in Custom Reports

Navigate to the Reports section in Shipper TMS.

Select Tags as a field when creating a custom report.

Tags will appear as a column in the generated report.


Filtering Reports by Tag Type

Managing Tags
