The Request Drawer Recommendations feature in Shipper TMS provides valuable suggestions for refining order details, ensuring smooth operations and better carrier engagement. With this feature, you can seamlessly update vehicle details, payment terms, pricing, and notification preferences—all in one convenient location.
Viewing Carrier Requests
When a carrier expresses interest in working with your company or requests approval for a load, their request will appear in your Carrier Requests tab. Follow these steps to view and review requests:
Step 1: Navigate to the Carrier Requests Tab

Log into your Shipper TMS account.

In the left-hand menu, click on Manage Carriers and then select Requests.
Step 2: Filter Requests

Use filters to narrow down carrier requests based on criteria like Status (e.g., Pending, Approved) or Request Date.

Click on a specific request to view the carrier’s details.
Approving or Declining Carrier Requests
After reviewing a carrier’s information, you can decide whether to approve or decline their request. Here’s how:
Step 1: Review Carrier Details

Click on a carrier’s request to open their profile.

Verify key details, such as USDOT, insurance documents, and contact information.
Step 2: Approve or Decline

To approve, click the Approve Carrier button. This will add the carrier to your network and allow them to access relevant loads.

To decline, click the Decline Carrier button. You can also include a reason for declining, which the carrier will see in their notification.
Note: For carriers requiring additional verification, use the “Verify Carrier” option to ensure all documents are in place before approval.
What Are Request Drawer Recommendations?
Request Drawer Recommendations are helpful prompts within Shipper TMS that guide you in updating essential order details. Whether it’s adjusting pricing, adding vehicle information, or modifying payment terms, these recommendations ensure your orders are complete, competitive, and ready for carriers.

When an order includes the vehicle year, type, and model, a Recommended Price will be displayed.

If your order price is below the recommended value, you’ll see a prompt to adjust it. Keeping your price aligned with recommendations can help attract more carriers.
Manage Notification Settings

If SMS or email notifications are disabled, you’ll be prompted to enable them for better communication.
“Don’t Suggest Again” Option

For recommendations you don’t need, select “Don’t suggest again” to dismiss them for that specific order.
How to Use Request Drawer Recommendations

Once the load is posted to the Super LoadBoard the Drawer will open.

Step 2: Update Vehicle Details

Step 4: Set the Recommended Price

If the Recommended Price is displayed, and your order price is lower:

Click Set to Recommended Price to instantly adjust the price to the suggested value.
Step 5: Enable Notifications

If prompted, enable SMS or email notifications directly from the drawer to ensure smooth communication.
Step 6: Dismiss Unneeded Recommendations

Click “Don’t suggest again” for recommendations that are not relevant to your order.
