Introduction
Fleet Drive Mode in Super Dispatch helps companies control what actions drivers can perform inside the Driver App. When enabled, it limits drivers' ability to modify, delete, or invoice orders, ensuring they focus solely on transporting vehicles while dispatchers and accounting teams maintain full administrative control.
What Fleet Drive Mode Does
When Fleet Drive Mode is active, drivers are restricted from:
- Deleting an order.
- Archiving an order.
- Sending invoices.
- Editing the Pickup or Delivery company name and contact name (they can still edit addresses and notes).
- Marking an order as Paid.
- Adding vehicles to loads created by dispatchers or brokers.
Note: Loads created by dispatchers refer to orders created within Carrier TMS.
Loads created by brokers refer to orders created within Shipper TMS.
Fleet Drive Mode and Owner-Operators
If you are an owner-operator who uses the Driver App personally and also employs other drivers, enabling Fleet Drive Mode requires careful consideration:
- Fleet Drive Mode applies to all drivers linked to your Carrier TMS account — including yourself if you haul vehicles.
- It helps prevent employees from changing critical company details or accessing the Loadboard independently.
- However, if you rely on full access inside the app for business operations, you may want to carefully manage which drivers have Fleet Drive Mode restrictions applied.
Important Notes for Drivers and Load Creation
- Drivers associated with a Carrier TMS account that has an active Super Dispatch subscription can still create new orders inside the Driver App, even when Fleet Drive Mode is active.
- Drivers from non-subscribed Carrier TMS accounts will not be able to manually create loads in the Driver App.
- Dispatchers should regularly archive completed orders to prevent old orders from cluttering the Driver App, since drivers cannot archive orders themselves when Fleet Drive Mode is on.

Driver App Settings Overview

Enable Super Loadboard on the Driver App
- Allows drivers to access the Super Loadboard directly inside the app to search and request loads.
Disable Customer Not Available Button on the Driver App
- Removes the "Customer Not Available" button from driver workflows during pickups or deliveries.
Disable STI (Subject To Inspection) Button on the Driver App
- Removes the option for drivers to mark vehicles as "Subject to Inspection" at delivery.
Enable Driver Pay Field
- Allows drivers to view and edit their Driver Pay rate on orders (if applicable to your company workflow).
Enable Driver to Edit Carrier Information
- Gives drivers permission to edit Carrier details inside the Driver App. When disabled, only dispatchers can update carrier company info.
