Carriers must be verified before they can request and book loads on the Super Loadboard. This article walks through how to submit the information and documents needed to become a Verified Carrier in Carrier TMS. For an overview of what verification means and what it unlocks, see What is Verified Carrier Status?

How to Get Verified With a USDOT Number
Step 1: Complete Your Carrier Profile
- Log in to Carrier TMS and open your Carrier Profile.
- Make sure your business address and contact information are filled in and saved.
Step 2: Upload Your Certificate of Insurance (COI)
- Upload your COI and enter the expiration date, cargo limit, and deductible. Agent details are optional.
- Ask your insurance provider to email the COI directly to Super Dispatch. Super Dispatch must be listed as the certificate holder.
Note: There's no minimum cargo limit for carriers when submitting a COI. For details, see
Adding Super Dispatch As A Certificate Holder on Your COI.
Step 3: Upload Your W-9
- Upload a signed and dated W-9 issued within the last two years. Including your Social Security Number (SSN) is optional.
- Need a blank form? Download a W-9 from the IRS.
Step 4: Upload Any Required State Permits
- If your state requires one, upload your State Motor Carrier Permit.
Phone Verification (Required for All Carriers)
All carriers must verify their phone number before a verification request can be submitted or approved.
Step 1: Open the Carrier Info Tab
- In your Carrier Profile, open Carrier Info. If phone verification is needed, you'll see a To Do badge and a Verify now banner.
Step 2: Choose How to Get Your Code
- The phone number comes from your FMCSA or business records. Choose Call or Text (SMS). You can switch at any time.
Step 3: Enter the Code
- Enter the 6-digit code and click Submit. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
- You can resend the code after 60 seconds, up to 3 attempts per hour.
If There's a Problem
- Too many attempts: You'll be asked to try again in an hour.
- No phone number on record: Update your information with the FMCSA before you continue.
- Wrong code: An error shows under the code field.
- Code expired or not delivered: An error explains what happened and lets you resend the code.
After Your Phone Is Verified
- The banner goes away and a verified icon appears next to your phone number. You won't need to verify again unless the number changes.
Phone Verification in the Verification Application
- If you haven't verified your phone yet, it's the first step when you click Become Verified Carrier. You must finish it before you can send your request.
- If your phone is already verified, the step shows as complete. Click Continue to Carrier Info.
For more detail, see Phone Verification.
What Happens After You Submit
- Your status shows Pending while your documents are reviewed.
- You'll get updates by email and in Carrier TMS.
- Your profile shows the Verified badge once you're approved.
