Introduction
Shipper Interest Insurance helps protect your vehicle against physical loss or damage while it’s in transit. This insurance is powered by Tint, a trusted embedded insurance platform that enables Super Dispatch to offer seamless, on-demand coverage at the time of booking. When you insure a load through Super Dispatch, Tint is the licensed provider managing the policy and handling any claims. This guide explains what’s covered, how to file a claim, and what you’ll need for a smooth and successful claims process.
When to File a Claim
You should file a claim if your covered vehicle suffers direct physical loss or damage during transit—such as collision damage, theft, vandalism, or fire—that is not excluded under the policy.
Types of Claims Covered
Insurance is designed to protect your vehicle against unexpected events during shipping. Common types of covered claims include:
- Collision or overturn: Damage caused by transport truck accidents.
- Loading or unloading damage: Harm caused while the vehicle is being moved onto or off the carrier.
- Theft: Vehicle stolen while in the carrier’s possession.
- Vandalism: Intentional damage to the vehicle during transit.
- Fire: Fire damage that occurs during shipping.
- Towing and storage: Reasonable towing costs and up to 5 days of storage related to a covered loss.
Important: Coverage only applies to vehicles valued at $200,000 or less that are properly declared before shipment with the required photos submitted.
Claims Checklist — What You’ll Need
Make sure to gather the following items before submitting your claim:
| ✅ Item | Why It’s Needed |
|---|---|
| Purchase Confirmation Email | Includes load ID and VIN to help locate your policy |
| Pre-shipment photos | Must be clear, date- and time-stamped, showing all sides, top, and bottom of the vehicle |
| Post-shipment photos | Taken at delivery to document any damage |
| Bill of Lading and Delivery Receipt | Confirms shipment details and delivery condition |
| Police Report | Required for claims involving theft, vandalism, or criminal acts |
