Introduction

The Reporting section in Carrier TMS gives you a centralized view of your business performance — revenue, load volume, driver output, invoice status, and more — without ever leaving the platform or opening a spreadsheet. Whether you're an owner checking business health or a dispatcher tracking driver performance, Reporting puts the data you need where you need it.

How Reporting Is Organized

Reporting works at three levels, designed for how you actually use the data. Access it by clicking the Reporting icon in the left navigation bar.

Overview — At a Glance

The Overview page is your starting point. It displays a set of widgets — compact, automatically updated views of your most important KPIs — with no setup required. Open it to get an immediate read on where your business stands: gross revenue, net revenue, gross profit, expenses, delivered loads, delivered VINs, rate per mile, driver pay, and more. The Overview is available to all Carrier TMS subscribers.

Dashboards — Drill Down Into the Details

Click any widget or use the left sidebar to open a full dashboard. Dashboards give you the complete, filterable data behind each KPI — filter by driver, shipper, date range, or status to answer the specific questions driving your decisions. The following dashboards are available:

• Revenue — track earnings over time, broken down by load, lane, or shipper.
• Expenses — monitor driver pay, fuel, and other cost categories.
• Delivery Trend — monitor pickup and delivery performance over time.
• Drivers — view load volume, revenue, and performance by driver.
• Shippers — see activity and revenue by shipper or broker relationship.
• Invoices — track invoice status, outstanding balances, and payment history.

Scheduled Reports — For the Record

When you need structured data for accounting or finance, you can export reports as CSV or PDF from the Scheduled Reports page. You can set reports to generate and deliver automatically on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Ad Hoc basis. Scheduled Reports are available to paid subscribers only.

What You Can Track

Reporting pulls directly from the data already in your Carrier TMS — no manual entry or third-party tools required. Across the Overview and dashboards, you can monitor:

• Gross revenue, net revenue, and gross profit
• Total expenses broken down by category (driver pay, fuel, dry run fees, and more)
• Delivered loads and VINs, rate per mile, and rate per VIN
• Driver pay and individual driver output
• Invoice status, outstanding balances, and payment history
• Shipper and broker rankings by revenue and load count
• Pickup and delivery performance trends over time
