Carrier Performance Metrics within Carrier TMS provide valuable insights into driver behavior and operational quality. These metrics help dispatchers, shippers, and brokers monitor how well carriers complete inspections, share ETAs, and follow expected load workflows using the Driver App.
What Are Performance Metrics?
Carrier performance metrics are calculated based on recent load activity and are broken down into the following categories:
ETA Provided
This metric shows the percentage of loads where the assigned driver shared the Pickup and Delivery ETA during the inspection process.
Calculated based on all delivered loads from the carrier.
Drivers are prompted to provide ETA during the pickup and delivery inspection flows.
This is the percentage of accepted loads that were canceled by the carrier within 24 hours of the pickup time.
Cancellations made within 2 hours of booking are not counted in this metric.
Cancellations due to reasons such as “Unit Not Ready” or “Unknown Inoperable Vehicle” are excluded.
Providing accurate cancellation reasons is critical, as brokers and shippers can view and dispute them.
Photos Taken On-Site Rate
This metric measures the percentage of loads (with Advanced Inspection) where all required photos were taken on-site at pickup and delivery.
Photos must be taken inside the geofenced pickup or delivery area.
Only applies to delivered loads with Advanced Inspection enabled.
Performance Metrics Color Coding
Each metric will be color-coded in your dashboard as follows:
Green: Top Performer
Yellow: Average
Red: Needs Improvement
How to View Your Performance Metrics
Step 1: Go to Your Company Profile
In Carrier TMS, click on the Profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Step 2: Open the Overview Tab
Inside your profile, select the Overview tab. This will display your current company performance scores for each metric.
How Are These Metrics Calculated?
Performance metrics are calculated once enough data has been collected for accuracy. Metrics are refreshed for all verified carriers who have accepted or delivered at least one load in the last 60 days.
Metrics are based on delivered loads only, unless otherwise noted.
Scoring is updated regularly as new data becomes available.
