Introduction
In the Driver App, loads typically update their status automatically as drivers complete pickup and delivery inspections. However, in some cases, you may need to manually update a load’s status to Picked Up or Delivered. Below, we’ll walk you through the steps to do this manually.
How to Manually Mark a Load as Picked Up
Manually marking a load as Picked Up can sometimes be necessary in certain situation. Below we will walk you though the steps on how to accomplish this:
Step 1: Open Carrier TMS
- Log in to Carrier TMS and navigate to the Loads section.
Step 2: Mark as Picked Up
- Click the Options Button.
- Click the “Mark as Picked Up” button.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
- The load status will now change to Picked Up.
Note: This can only be done in the assigned section, and the load must be in "New"
status.
How to Manually Mark a Load as Delivered
Manually marking a load as Delivered can sometimes be necessary in certain situation. Below we will walk you though the steps on how to accomplish this:
Step 1: Open the Load
- From the Loads section, select the load.
Step 2: Mark as Delivered
- Click the Options Button
- Tap the “Mark as Delivered” button.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
- The load status will now change to Delivered.
When to Manually Update Load Status
You may need to manually update a load in the following situations:
- Inspection Was Skipped – If the driver did not complete the pickup or delivery inspection.
Note: If this is the case then we recommend reaching out to the Broker or Shipper to
let them know.
- Tracking or Sync Issues – If the app did not automatically update the status.
- Offline Mode – If the load was picked up or delivered while the driver was offline, and it did not sync correctly when reconnecting.
