Introduction
By default, Carrier TMS includes the Bill of Lading (BOL) as an attachment when sending invoices. If you don’t want BOLs automatically attached, you can easily disable this option from your account settings. This guide walks you through how to update that setting inside Carrier TMS.
Step-by-Step: Disable BOL Attachments
Follow the steps below to turn off automatic BOL attachments in your invoice settings.
Step 1: Log into Carrier TMS
Start by logging into your Carrier TMS account using your registered email and password.
Step 2: Click on Your Profile Icon
In the bottom-left corner of the screen, click your profile icon to access user settings.
Step 3: Go to Settings
From the profile menu, select Settings to open your account configuration options.
Step 4: Navigate to the Billing Tab
Once inside the Settings menu, click on the Billing tab to view invoice preferences.
Step 5: Disable "Attach BOL to invoice"
Find the toggle labeled Attach BOL to invoice and switch it off. This will prevent BOLs from being attached to future invoices automatically.
