Introduction
The Carrier TMS dashboard provides dispatchers with a streamlined interface for managing loads, drivers, and urgent tasks. With dedicated sections for Delayed Loads, Unassigned Loads, Drivers, and Attention Required alerts, the dashboard helps ensure efficient load tracking and smooth operations. Below is a breakdown of each section and how it improves workflow management.
Delayed Loads
The Delayed Loads section provides an overview of any shipments that have missed their scheduled pickup or delivery dates. This allows dispatchers to quickly identify and resolve delayed shipments.
Key Features:
- Displays the total number of delayed loads at a glance.
- Categorizes delays into Delayed Pickups and Delayed Deliveries for easier tracking.
- Each delayed load shows the number of days it has been delayed.
- Loads are ordered from most to least delayed to prioritize urgent shipments.
- A “View All” button allows users to see the full list of delayed loads.
Definitions:
- Delayed Pickups: Loads where the scheduled pickup date has passed, but the vehicle has not been picked up.
- Delayed Deliveries: Loads that are marked as Picked Up but have missed the scheduled delivery date.
Unassigned Loads
The Unassigned Loads section allows dispatchers to easily see all loads that have not yet been assigned to a driver.
Key Features:
- Displays the total number of unassigned loads.
- Each load includes an “Assign” button for quick driver assignment.
- The “View All” button takes users to a detailed list of all unassigned loads.
Driver Management
The Drivers section provides an overview of all active and assigned drivers, helping dispatchers monitor driver availability and workload distribution.
Key Features:
- Displays the number of active drivers (excluding deactivated or unaccepted drivers).
- Shows the total number of loads delivered within the current calendar month.
- Includes a search function to find drivers by name, email, or phone number.
- Categorizes drivers into three groups:
- Available: Active drivers with no assigned loads.
- Assigned: Drivers with at least one active load. If a deactivated driver has assigned loads, a Reassign button appears.
- Delivering: Drivers currently delivering loads (loads in Picked Up status).
Attention Required
The Attention Required section highlights important alerts and warnings, ensuring that dispatchers stay on top of urgent issues.
Key Features:
- Displays the number of active alerts.
- Lists any warnings that need attention, such as missing documents, system errors, or expired credentials.
- Includes a hover description for each alert to explain the issue.
Mobile-Friendly & Dark Mode Support
The dashboard is fully optimized for mobile devices, allowing dispatchers to manage operations from anywhere. Additionally, Dark Mode is available for a better visual experience in low-light environments.
