Introduction
By default, SuperProtect monitors every carrier you have ever dispatched to — even carriers you no longer work with. Those inactive carriers still count toward your SuperProtect tier, which can cause your usage to accumulate and lead to unexpected overage charges.
Reset Carrier Monitoring fixes this automatically. When turned on, SuperProtect removes carriers with no active loads from your monitored list at the start of each billing cycle. As soon as you dispatch to a carrier again, monitoring resumes automatically.
How to Turn On Reset Carrier Monitoring
Step 1: Open SuperProtect Settings
- Sign in to Shipper TMS.
- Go to Settings in the left navigation.
- Click SuperProtect.
Step 2: Enable the Setting
- Find the Reset carrier monitoring card.
- Toggle it on (the toggle turns blue).
- You'll see a Settings updated confirmation at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Confirm the Next Reset Date
Once the setting is on, the card shows the date of your next scheduled reset — for example, Next reset on Oct 1, 2026. This is the start of your next billing cycle.
To Turn It Off
Toggle Reset carrier monitoring off at any time. Carriers will continue to be monitored until you manually remove them from your monitored list.
What Happens at Each Reset
At the start of each billing cycle, SuperProtect checks every carrier in your monitored list. Any carrier with no active loads is removed from monitoring automatically. Your monitored count drops to reflect only the carriers you're currently working with.
When you dispatch to a previously removed carrier again, SuperProtect picks them back up and resumes monitoring right away — no manual steps needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this affect carriers I'm currently dispatching to?
No. Carriers with active loads are never removed. Only carriers with no active loads at the time of the reset are affected.
What if I want to keep monitoring a carrier I'm not dispatching to right now?
Turn off Reset Carrier Monitoring. That keeps all carriers in your monitored list until you manually remove them. You can also re-add a carrier to your monitored list at any time from SuperProtect → Monitoring.
When does the reset happen?
At the start of each billing cycle. The exact date is shown on the Reset Carrier Monitoring card in Settings → SuperProtect.
Will I be notified before carriers are removed?
The card shows your next reset date so you always know when it's coming. If you have questions about a specific reset, contact your account manager or Super Dispatch Support.
