Understanding Carrier Performance Metrics in the Driver App

    Welcome to Super Dispatch! If this is your first visit to our Help Center, we’re thrilled to have you here. Today, we’re diving into Carrier Performance Metrics within the Driver App. These metrics provide insightful data to dispatchers, shippers, and brokers about driver performance during inspections. Below, you’ll find a comprehensive guide to understanding these metrics and how they can benefit your business.

    Performance Metrics Overview

    Carrier performance indicators are categorized into three key areas, each designed to track and evaluate specific aspects of driver performance:

    ETA Provided

    Description:

    • Measures the percentage of loads where the assigned driver shared the pickup and/or delivery ETA.
    • Includes all delivered loads from the carrier.

    Late Cancellation Rate

    Description:

    • Tracks the percentage of accepted loads canceled by the carrier within 24 hours of the pickup time.

    Exclusions:

    • Cancellations occurring within 2 hours of booking are not counted.
    • Cancellations due to “Unit Not Ready” or “Unknown Inoperable Vehicle” are excluded from this calculation.

    Important Note:

    It is essential for carriers to provide accurate and truthful reasons for any cancellations. Brokers and shippers have visibility over these reasons and may dispute inaccuracies.

    Photos Taken On-Site Rate

    Description:

    • Calculates the percentage of delivered loads with Advanced Inspection where all required photos were successfully taken on-site at both the pickup and delivery locations.

    What Counts as On-Site:

    • A photo is considered on-site if it meets either of the following criteria:
      • It is geotagged within the required geofenced area, or
      • It was taken within 5 minutes of another photo from the same location that is correctly geotagged.

    Compliance Rule:

    If either the pickup or delivery location does not meet these conditions, the load is marked non-compliant, which lowers the overall Photos On-Site percentage shown in your metrics.

    Understanding Your Scores

    Score Representation

    Each score represents an average of various performance measures, giving you an overview of how well you are doing across multiple categories.

    Threshold Definitions

    Each metric has specific thresholds that indicate different levels of performance. These thresholds are designed to help you understand your current standing and identify areas for improvement.

    Optimizing Your Metrics

    While the scores provided are examples for educational purposes, your actual scores will vary based on real-world performance. By consistently completing loads correctly and paying attention to detail, you can achieve better results.
