Introduction
Welcome to Super Dispatch! This guide walks you through how Video Inspections work inside the Driver App and highlights key inspection features designed to make your job easier. From recording inspections to reviewing photos and damages, everything you need to know is right here.
What Is a Video Inspection?
Video Inspections allow drivers to record a short video—up to one minute—during pickup or delivery inspections. These inspections provide a dynamic alternative to traditional photo-only documentation, helping ensure clear and accurate vehicle records.
Using Video Mode in the Driver App
Step 1: Start the Inspection
Open the load you want to inspect. Tap Start Pickup Inspection or Start Delivery Inspection.
Step 2: Switch to Video Mode
- Tap the camera icon to switch from Camera Mode to Video Mode.
- Once active, a red record button will appear.
Step 3: Record the Video
Tap the red record button to begin. A one-minute timer will count down, and the recording will stop automatically when time runs out. You can:
- Take still photos using the white camera icon
- Pause and resume the recording
Step 4: Review the Video
After recording, you can:
- Play – Watch the video
- Retake – Delete and record again
- Delete – Remove the video permanently
Note: Deleting or retaking a video is permanent and cannot be undone.
Photo and Video Viewer
The Photo and Video Viewer lets you see all your inspection media in one place. Swipe left or right to review images. If any required photos are missing, a reminder will appear. Tap any photo to enlarge it in a full gallery view.
Vehicle Inspection Features
Damages Tracker
The Damages section displays a visual wireframe of the vehicle, showing where all damage photos were marked. If no damage was recorded, the area remains blank. You can mark damage at any time by tapping the Mark Damage button.
Additional Inspection Section
All additional inspection details captured during pickup or delivery are stored together for quick review. This helps streamline customer conversations and ensures all data is easy to access.
Toggle Between Pickup and Delivery Inspections
Switch between pickup and delivery inspections with a single tap—making it easy to compare condition changes or show customers before-and-after visuals.
AIAG Inspection Damages
All damages captured during AIAG inspections are automatically shown in the Damages section to ensure complete inspection visibility.
Accessing and Viewing Videos
Online BOL
Once a video inspection is uploaded, it can be viewed through the Online Bill of Lading (BOL). Simply click on the video icon to begin playback.
Syncing Status
If a video is still uploading, you’ll see a syncing status message. Once complete, the video becomes available for viewing.
Carrier TMS
Dispatchers can also view uploaded videos from within Carrier TMS for each associated load.
Device Storage Warnings
If your device storage is full or nearly full, video inspections may be unavailable. You’ll receive a warning on the loading screen and within the inspection process. To continue, free up space by deleting unnecessary files from your device.
